A few things to check out as we approach the year end holidays. If you haven't already, visit Handgrenadealien's Great Lament; it includes some spectacularly painted 28mm figures converted from various ranges for South American use.
Speaking of 28mm figures, be sure to check out Park Field Miniature's new South American range. Simon Lee is the sculptor and owner and our UK friends should look for him at various shows around the country. Great work!
I am helping Capitan Games with an English language version of their new Master & Commander Close Quarters rules. The version they currently have is fine but I am trying to make it more readable for the English language gamer. Mike Broadbent is now sculpting for Capitan Miniatures and has done a full range of 18mm figures to go with M&C Close Quarters. He is also working on 28mm Napoleonic figures for Miguel and hopefully the Spanish troops will go along with Simon's range. Great to have some dedicated options for the 28mm gamer.
In the back of my mind I'm thinking of the 28mm Buenos Aires 1806-07 range that Carlos is working on in Argentina. While you're on the site, check out the exposition they recently held at the famous Galerias Pacifico shopping center in downtown Buenos Aires! Some awesome games from all different periods. I see that Francisco was there; those Zulu War figures look awesome!
Finally, I am still working with my new caster, Monday Knight Productions, on getting the molds sorted and an effective ordering method established. I have plenty of stock on hand for most of the references but I am currently short of Argentina infantry and 2lbr, 4lbr and 8lbr howitzers. I have made these first priority and anticipate having them in hand in a matter of days.

Hi John, I already made the molds and took the first miniatures. I hope to send you some when they travel to the United States one of the sons of Francis. Merry Christmas. Carlos
