Miguel released his first South American variant for his Capitan rules system. The system is at a scale of 1"=10 yards. Each figure represents 1 officer/leader or 3 men. This first supplement focuses on the Chilean campaigns of 1817 and 1818. The rules are free, as is the supplement and are available in both English and Spanish. If you're looking for a proper skirmish scale game, give them a try.
Rolf Grein has taken the lead and is working up some very good and interesting material for the Regimental Fire & Fury South American variant. This variant will allow you to play the larger "tactical" scale battles, with each unit representing a battalion or squadron. It's looking like RF&F is well suited for covering this period and I'm really looking forward to running a local playtest or two before this comes out.
I have slated May 14 as the official release date of "Adventures of the British and Irish Legions". On May 15 I begin pulling together "Volume 2: War in the North"!
