First the bad news: my printer informed me yesterday that he cannot make the deadline for Cold Wars. This is the 2nd printer I've had drop the ball on this project. I canceled the job as I was paying a premium to make the deadline. I will attempt to line up another printer today but the book will now probably not be available until early April.
Obviously, I am deeply disappointed. Nevertheless, the book is done and it will be available in a matter of weeks. Just not in time for Cold Wars.
The good news is that I received an order of castings from Mike so all of the new references will be released on schedule, coinciding with Cold Wars. This means you'll be able to purchase British/Irish Legion infantry, Venezuelan infantry, Infantry (no uniform), Llanero cavalry and updated Royalists, now with captains and sergeants (2 variants of each). Don't know how much, if any, of these figures will physically be AT Cold Wars but they WILL be available via the web store.
I'm looking forward to meeting as many Liberators! folks as possible at the convention so do not hesitate to say hello. I'm really excited to hear about your projects, how you game the period, what rules you use, etc. It'll be a great chance to get a sense of where you'd like to see things go as I transition into finally getting "War in the North" from Word document to finished book.
